In the late 19th and early 20th Century, Paris was the site of some of the most famous art movements of all time.

First, the French Impressionists like Monet and Renoir dazzled the art world with their lush scenes of modern urban life.  Then, artists like Van Gogh and Gauguin brought the sun-drenched landscape of southern France and exotic Polynesia to life with their revolutionary new Post Impressionist styles.
In the cafes of Paris, Picasso, Matisse and Dali invented whole new ways of looking at the world, translating their ideas onto bold canvasses of unprecedented power.

Join art Historian Anne Kristiansen on a
journey through these art movements and explore the creative energies at work in turn of the century Paris.

Or classes also offered Friday:
22066 Friday  10:00 AM-11:30 AM
